ESL lesson plans for adults
These are complete ESL lesson plans for adult learners, organized by CEFR level. Each one is a single class you can teach as written: a clear communicative goal, the vocabulary and structures it needs, and every stage with what the teacher says and what students do.
Each plan states its CEFR level, its length and the age group it is written for, so you can see at a glance whether it fits your class. The plans are grouped by level below, starting with the lowest.
Every plan explains why the lesson is built the way it is, with the reasoning behind its stages. It also lists the problems that tend to come up in class, with what to do about them, and the criteria that tell you whether the lesson worked.
The plans in this library are generated with PromptLesson, then reviewed and edited before publication. If you need the same kind of lesson on another topic, at another level or for a different class length, you can build one for your own group.
